CHOIR REHEARSALS Choir Rehearsals will resume Thursday, September 9th, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. New members are most welcome. For more information please speak to Linda Fearn. PROCLAIMING THE WORD: Bringing the scriptures to life Join us Saturday September 11th from 10 - 2, (and hopefully people from other churches in the area), as together we learn how to proclaim the scriptures in a way which makes them come alive for your listeners. Building on the scriptures as lived experience, you will also learn to use pacing and voice modulation to carry the message. Whether you are a reader at St. Peter’s or just interested in learning more about proclaiming the Scriptures, all are welcome. Bring a notepad and pen, as well as a bag lunch. Lunchtime will be a time of sharing the experience of proclamation in the various churches from which the participants will come. The workshop leader is Ray Temmerman HOSPITAL VISITS If you have a family member admitted to hospital, please phone the church office. We are happy to visit but we need to know.
